Effective January 1: Masks are Optional in VisArts’ Classrooms and Studios

Loading Events

An evening where creativity and community come together—every corner invites discovery, and the conversations are as interesting as the art.

Join us Friday, November 21, from 7–9 PM as we celebrate the opening of our newest exhibitions.

Experience a meditative installation by Sookkyung Park in Where the Light Blooms (Gibbs Street Gallery, Nov 7–Jan 11).

See mixed media work by Ju Yun that blends motifs and techniques from her native Korea with threads from Western pop culture in What I Leave Behind (Concourse Gallery, Nov 14–Jan 18).

Take in sharp, thought-provoking perspectives in Flip It & Reverse It: Spectacles of Blackness in Popular Media, curated by 2025 Emerging Curator Storm Bookhard (Kaplan Gallery, Nov 21–Jan 18).

Explore the layered histories and imagined futures of Ghanaian culture in Vincent Frimpong’s solo show, How the Message Comes Across (Common Ground Gallery, Nov 7–Jan 11).

Mix with artists, friends, and first-timers over good food, drinks, and conversation—the kind that only happens around great art.
