VisArts is committed to ensuring that art education is accessible to all.

Thanks to support from private donors, we’re able to provide a limited number of partial scholarships for our classes and workshops, Young Artists and Artistic Adventures Camps, and Tween + Teen Intensives.

How to Apply for Scholarships

Application Deadline: April 15, 2025

Our Young Artist and Artistic Adventures Scholarships are closed, and all funds have been allocated.

Tween and Teen Intensive scholarships are still open for campers ages 11 – 17 and will close at midnight on April 15, 2025.

Scholarships are income and need-based. Funding is limited and scholarships may be awarded prior to the deadline on a first come, first served basis.
Incomplete or late applications won’t be considered.
Applicants must submit the Summer Camp Scholarship Application, completed online by the parent or legal guardian of the camper(s).
Applicants also must email Shraddha Tiwari, Camp Director (include Summer Camp Scholarship in the subject line):
- A copy of the parent’s or legal guardian’s most recent or 2024 tax return for proof of income, or documentation proving your qualification for free or reduced price school lunch.

Applicants will receive a scholarship determination email within two weeks after the application deadline.

Scholarships are applied to the tuition of VisArts’ Camps; discounts or credits do not apply.
