Class + Workshop Refund Policy

Our class + workshop refund policy is as follows:

  • $10 registration fee per class or workshop is non-refundable.
  • Withdrawal up to two weeks prior to start date: 100% refund, less $10 registration fee.
  • Withdrawal less than two weeks, but more than one week, prior to start date: 75% refund, less $10 registration fee.
  • Withdrawal less than one week prior to start date: 50% refund, less $10 registration fee.
  • Withdrawal after first class: No refund.

Class + Workshop Transfer Policy

All transfer requests for classes and workshops must be made at least 24 hours in advance and only by using our Class Change Request Form. Phone requests will not be accepted or honored.

With 24 hours’ notice, VisArts may be able to transfer your registration to another class or workshop, if there are available spaces.

Workshop Late Policy

For one-time workshops, students will not be admitted if they arrive 15 minutes after the scheduled start time. This ensures that instructors have enough time to teach, without interruptions that affect other students.

Students who arrive after the 15-minute window will not be able to reschedule.

Please plan to arrive several minutes before the scheduled start time, taking traffic and garage parking into account.

Classes + Workshops FAQs

Materials are provided in classes unless otherwise stated in the class descriptions. Classes that do not have materials included in the price will have a materials list for students to view.

No, we do not prorate or offer makeup classes for class sessions.

Children’s classes are categorized into age groups and listed on the title of each class. We do not allow younger children to attend classes for older children, but with permission we can allow an older child to attend a class for younger children.

All classes that are for adults are for students ages 14 and above.

We don’t maintain a waiting list, but our registration is displayed in real time, so check back – spaces can open in a sold-out class. Remember, we do not accept cancellations/transfers less than 24 hours before a class, so you will know by then if there is space.
