VisArts Gallery Tours: Explore, Engage, Connect

Life moves fast, but at VisArts, we invite you to slow down, look closely, and engage with art in a meaningful way. Our free, private, guided gallery tours are designed for small groups, offering a chance to pause, reflect, and enjoy thought-provoking conversations in a welcoming space. 

In just an hour, you’ll explore contemporary art created by a diverse community of artists. Our friendly staff will guide you through slow-looking techniques to uncover deeper stories within the art. Through group discussions, we’ll encourage sharing ideas, exploring different perspectives, and making meaningful connections with one another. 

We welcome art lovers of all ages and backgrounds. Whether it’s your first gallery visit or you’re a longtime enthusiast, our guided tours provide an opportunity to go beyond simply looking at the art, helping you experience, understand, and relate to it on a deeper level. 

• Families: If you’re planning a family-friendly activity, our gallery experiences for children (ages 2-17) are fun and interactive, with hands-on activities, guided conversations, and age-appropriate exploration that spark curiosity and inspire creativity. 

• Adults: If you’re looking to experience art beyond the surface, our tours invite you to appreciate the details, uncover deeper meanings, discover fresh insights, and relate to the works on a personal level. 

• Educators + Students: Our tours for students (grades 1-12) are grounded in educational research, offering engaging activities and routines that help develop critical thinking skills. With rotating exhibitions from diverse artists and curators, our tours support art, literature, and social studies curricula.
