VisArts’ Accessible Arts classes offer inclusive instruction for students with disabilities, with curricula designed to support a wide range of needs.
Our instructors provide personalized assistance and are mindful of sensory sensitivities, creating a welcoming and adaptable learning environment.
They regularly participate in professional development to strengthen their skills, including VSA Kennedy Center’s Introduction to Arts and Special Education courses and disability advocacy training with Liz Michaels, LLC. This ongoing education ensures they bring effective, compassionate, and innovative teaching strategies to every class.
VisArts is committed to providing programming and opportunities to students with a wide range of disabilities.
VisAbility is VisArts’ supported studio program for neurodiverse adult artists who have a strong interest in a career in the arts.
