Food Truck Vendor Application Details

The 13th Annual Rockville Arts Festival is seeking three food truck vendors to serve the festival’s 10,000+ attendees over the weekend of May 3-4, 2025. This juried selection process ensures a diverse and high-quality food experience for festival-goers.

Festival Details

  • Dates: Saturday, May 3 and Sunday, May 4, 2025
  • Time: 10 AM – 5 PM (both days)
  • Location: The Square, Rockville, MD
  • Audience: Expected attendance of 10,000+ people of all ages
  • Rain or Shine event

Vendor Information

  • Limit: Only three food trucks will be selected
  • Fees: No participation fee for selected vendors
  • Vendors must be fully licensed to operate in Montgomery County, MD
  • Trucks must be self-contained (water, power, and waste management)

Important Dates

  • Application Deadline: April 1, 2025
  • Notification of Acceptance: April 8, 2025

How to Apply

To be considered, please submit the following information to Festival Director Robin Markowitz at rmarkowitz@visartscenter.org by April 1, 2025:

  • Business name, contact information, and social media/website
  • Menu with pricing
  • Photos of your truck and food offerings
  • Proof of Montgomery County food service license (at least 14 business days prior to the festival)
  • List of previous festivals or events attended

Additional Notes

  • Vendors must commit to serving for the full duration of the festival (both days).
  • Alcohol sales and distribution are not permitted.
  • Selected vendors will be provided with setup instructions (tent required) and arrival details upon acceptance.
