We’re located in The Square, a pedestrian-friendly, urban gathering place with great restaurants, trendy bars, unique shops, the Rockville Library, Trader Joe’s, and year-round events.
In the summer, you can kick back, hang out on the lawn, splash in the fountain, and listen to music from local bands.
In the winter, you can lace up your skates and take a spin around The Square’s ice rink, the largest outdoor ice-skating rink in Montgomery County.
In the spring, you can join thousands of art lovers at the Rockville Arts Festival.
VisArts’ annual Rockville Arts Festival is held the first weekend in May in The Square. Shop and stroll our outdoor art gallery and market featuring original art, jewelry, furniture, artisanal skincare, gourmet treats, flowers, food trucks – and much more.
There are several parking garages that offer free parking for 90 minutes, so you’ll have time to visit our contemporary art galleries, browse local stores, get a cup of coffee, and dine outside at the Streetery on Gibbs.
The Square is also a quick walk to Metro’s Rockville Station, where you can take the Red Line to Washington, DC.
