Wall Vases

Explore forms of symmetry to create 3-5 vessels, objects, vases, and containers, which express their volumetric presence primarily through their silhouette profiles. These can be wall mounted or table-top vases, or both! 

Using Soldate stoneware clay we will explore slab construction and surface pattern and texture, emphasized with color, using a variety under and over glazes to create a rich palette of color with depth and variety. 

This class session includes 1750 cubic inches of glaze firings. Students who exceed this amount must pay an overage fee of $0.05 per cubic inch.

This class is for students ages 14 and up.
