OPENING RECEPTION + ARTIST TALKS

Join us for an opening reception, artist talks, open studios, and an art performance on Friday, April 5 from 7-9 PM!

View VisArts in the Concourse Gallery from March 22- April 28 and VisArts in the Kaplan Gallery from March 29-May 12, featuring work by VisArts’ talented students and faculty from 2023.

VisArts’ 11th iteration of NextGen, an annual show for emerging artists ages 17-27, will be on view in the Gibbs Street Gallery from March 22- May 12.

Thresholds of Dissent, Sarah Stefana Smith’s solo exhibition, brings together a constellation of works that consider material and material life. The exhibition constructs various points of contact between multi-textural wall objects and installations and two-dimensional sculptural drawings — to consider networks, dissonances, connectivities, and relationships through unmarked territories and care.  The exhibition will be on view in the Common Ground Gallery from March 29- May 12.

Gabriel Soto: Vision/Apparition is in the 355 POD Space Gallery from March 22- May 12. The works included in this exhibition focus on “the miracle,” an event or object that breaks our notions of what is real, possible, or conceivable. They explore hallucinations, magical energies, and visions as an aesthetic and conceptual framework.

This event is free and open to the public. RSVP below to reserve your space.
