Effective January 1: Masks are Optional in VisArts’ Classrooms and Studios
Ready to turn your ideas into stunning prints?
By the end of this course, you’ll be creating unique designs perfect for notecards, postcards, recipe card borders, or even art for your walls.
We’ll start with crisp white paper and black ink to nail the basics. Then, as you get comfortable, you’ll play with colors, paper, and fun techniques. In the first two sessions, you’ll learn easy carving methods using SoftKut, a flexible material that’s way easier to work with than traditional linoleum. After a quick test run, you’ll carve two custom blocks.
The last two classes are all about printing: experiment with color combos, backgrounds, and watch your designs come to life—over and over again.

This class is for ages 14 and up.

Classes require a minimum enrollment of four students. If classes must be cancelled due to low enrollment, students will be informed one week prior to the start of the class and issued a full refund.
