Intermediate Wheel: Xiaosheng Bi

When the time has come for you to move onto the next level, this class is for you. Students will learn to refine their throwing skills and work on more sophisticated projects.  Students will learn techniques to throw bigger and taller pots and will be exposed to constructing teapots, pitchers, nesting bowls, and platters.

Requisite: You should be comfortable throwing more than 5 pounds of clay. 

• Please buy clay prior to your first class; it will be waiting for you on the first day. 

• Practice makes perfect! Sign up for Open Studio. 

• Each student is assigned a shelf for the course. Please clear it on your last day, unless you’re continuing with another class. 

This class session includes 2500 cubic inches of glaze firings. Students who exceed this amount must pay an overage fee of $0.05 per cubic inch.

This class is for students ages 14 and up.

If classes must be cancelled due to low enrollment, students will be informed one week prior to the start of the class and issued a full refund.
