Colored pencil is a great medium to practice in, for any age. The layering that is possible with colored pencils can nicely portray fur and feathers.We will work on the kookaburra bird (of Australia, relative to our kingfisher in this country), the red panda, and the black swan. Students will work in Lyra brand pencils (provided), which has a richer pigment than other colored pencils on the market.
