Effective January 1: Masks are Optional in VisArts’ Classrooms and Studios
In this dynamic class, you’ll explore bricolage—an expressive art-making technique that combines both two-dimensional and three-dimensional elements to create richly layered, personal works of art.
Beginning with a painted canvas as your foundation, you’ll experiment with adding textural materials such as found objects, fabric, paper, and natural elements. Through guided exploration, you’ll learn how to use layering, contrast, and composition to enhance visual impact and bring tactile depth to your work.
This class is perfect for anyone interested in pushing the boundaries of traditional painting and discovering new ways to tell visual stories through mixed media.
This class is for ages 14 and up.

Classes require a minimum enrollment of four students. If classes must be cancelled due to low enrollment, students will be informed one week prior to the start of the class and issued a full refund.
