Effective January 1: Masks are Optional in VisArts’ Classrooms and Studios
To support our neighbors in need, VisArts’ Center for Craft Studies presents Empty Bowls, an international initiative aimed at combating hunger in our community.
Ticket proceeds will support Stepping Stones Shelter, a nonprofit organization in Rockville that provides emergency food and shelter to families experiencing homelessness in Montgomery County.
Guests will have the opportunity to choose a bowl handcrafted by VisArts ceramics students and faculty, with clay, glazes, and firing donated by VisArts.
During the event, we will raffle off artwork created and donated by VisArts faculty and staff.
Raffle tickets will be available for purchase at the event: one for $10 or six for $50.
Event tickets include a light meal, generously provided by Catering by Seasons.
