Effective January 1: Masks are Optional in VisArts’ Classrooms and Studios
Bring your imagined worlds to life. This course is all about visualizing your imagination—and you can use any materials you like, from traditional media to your own device and apps for digital painting.
Designed for students with some painting experience, you’ll be guided step-by-step from initial ideas to sketching, color exploration, adding details, and completing your own original work.
Along the way, we’ll cover composition, light, and color theory, plus how to effectively use reference images—and even help each other take photos to use as inspiration.
Leave with a finished piece that began in your mind and now exists for everyone to see.
This class is for ages 14 and up.

Classes require a minimum enrollment of four students. If classes must be cancelled due to low enrollment, students will be informed one week prior to the start of the class and issued a full refund.
