Effective January 1: Masks are Optional in VisArts’ Classrooms and Studios
Build and strengthen your art portfolio by exploring your favorite materials and techniques—drawing, painting (in all forms), and mixed media. In this class, you’ll develop your personal style while learning how to create more dynamic and visually engaging compositions.
With instructional guidance, you’ll dive into the Elements of Art and Principles of Design using a variety of tools and methods. You’ll also learn how to revise and enhance weaker pieces to better meet AP 2D or AP Drawing Portfolio standards.
Each student will receive individualized support based on their current skill level and goals. Please bring a sketchbook or digital portfolio (photos on your phone are fine) to help assess where you are and how we can support your creative growth.

Classes require a minimum enrollment of four students. If classes must be cancelled due to low enrollment, students will be informed one week prior to the start of the class and issued a full refund.
