Effective January 1: Masks are Optional in VisArts’ Classrooms and Studios
Add a personal touch to your wardrobe in this creative and beginner-friendly embroidery workshop! In just a few hours, you’ll learn the basics of hand embroidery while customizing a hat with your own unique design.
Students will be introduced to fundamental embroidery stitches, learn how to properly transfer a pattern onto fabric, and explore techniques for stitching on curved surfaces like hats. A variety of fun, ready-to-use patterns will be provided, or you’re welcome to bring your own design idea to make your piece truly one-of-a-kind.
By the end of class, you’ll leave with a personalized, hand-embroidered hat and the skills to continue your embroidery journey at home.
This class is for ages 14 and up.

Classes require a minimum enrollment of four students. If classes must be cancelled due to low enrollment, students will be informed one week prior to the start of the class and issued a full refund.
