Effective January 1: Masks are Optional in VisArts’ Classrooms and Studios
Bring a friend or family member and join us for this sweet, festive painting experience! In this guided holiday workshop, you’ll create your very own Gingerbread Village on a long horizontal canvas, perfect for seasonal display.
We’ll begin by sketching the outlines of charming village houses on a warm gingerbread-colored background, using a white pencil to guide the design. Step by step, your instructor will lead you through the process of adding whimsical details and decorations. To create the “icing” effect, you’ll layer in white paint using either a brush with acrylics or a special paint pen for fine details. Snowflake dots and snowy ground will provide the finishing touches to bring your winter wonderland to life.
Your completed artwork will make a delightful holiday decoration, perfect for a mantel, bookshelf, or wall, and sure to bring joy year after year.

Classes require a minimum enrollment of four students. If classes must be cancelled due to low enrollment, students will be informed one week prior to the start of the class and issued a full refund.
