Effective January 1: Masks are Optional in VisArts’ Classrooms and Studios

Artist Advisory Council

The VisArts Artist Advisory Council (AAC) is comprised of a diverse group of artists, curators, academics, and arts professionals from the DC/Maryland/Northern Virginia region. These talented individuals provide a broad arc of expertise to advise and assist the gallery staff with the development and implementation of exhibitions, selection and mentorship of VisArts Studio Residents and Fellows, and other exhibition-related programming.

VisArts is committed to addressing the needs of artists and artist-driven initiatives with sustainable tactics. The members of the ACC play essential roles as connectors, future imaginers, advisors, and review panels.
