Effective January 1: Masks are Optional in VisArts’ Classrooms and Studios
Commercial Glazes are an exciting way to add a painterly and personal look to ceramics. Join Instructor Kimberly Swanner as she shows you the ropes with high-fire commercial glazes and how they behave together. Learn color layering and running glaze techniques to become a better and more educated glazer. Students must bring bisque-fired pieces to work on and VisArts will provide a few mid-fire glazes to work with. Best results if students bring glazes they already have and are looking to master. No low-fire glazes.
Students enrolled in this class do not get individual shelves for works in progress.
