Effective January 1: Masks are Optional in VisArts’ Classrooms and Studios
This class is open to students of all skill levels and there is no class requisite. Whether you’ve never used a wheel or you have years of experience you’ll learn how to build and expand your skills and create beautiful functional ceramic forms. For students already comfortable with the basics we will focus on improving your skills and throwing larger and more consistent forms. For those looking to move into large and complex forms the focus will be on learning to control more clay and adjusting your technique appropriately. All students will learn to work with glazes and other decorating methods that will result in lovely, functional pieces of pottery.

Practice makes perfect and we offer Open Studio every day for students to practice. Please use this LINKÂ https://www.signupgenius.com/go/9040f4eada92baa8-ceramic1 to make an appointment. All students are assigned a shelf for the duration of their classes. All material must be removed from their shelf on the last day of classes (unless taking a subsequent class)
