JoAnn found the VisAbility Art Lab in June 2019 after working as a volunteer in the galleries at VisArts. When in the studio, she has a lot of energy and ideas for her creations and working with other artists. JoAnn works in both painting and ceramics in the studio.

Outside of VisArts, JoAnn is very active in her church, community and with her family.

JoAnn has exhibited her art at VisArts; Abstracted, Takoma Park Community Center; and in several group shows in the area.
