This project is based on a famous painting by the Austrian artist Gustav Klimt, who painted in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
The “Zentangle” is an art form popular in recent years. The subject matter is divided into sections, as you can see in this sample, and each section is completely filled with a small design element that is repeated, such as a spiral. In this project, we can provide an interesting contrast by using colored pencils to color the lady’s face only (optional).
- Fine and medium black sharpie markers
- A heavy-weight white drawing paper, such as the Strathmore 400 series.
- Set of colored pencils (Prismacolor or Lyra brands recommended)
