Online Hand Building (age 7-9) 21Week7AM

In one-week, students will learn the basics of hand-building with stoneware clay. Campers will learn about the different techniques that go into creating pottery, as well as learn the basics of glazing and firing. This class is designed for students to learn slab construction techniques, as well as the skills for making strong, functional handbuilt pottery, and the basics of glazing and firing. All materials will be provided, your child just needs a sturdy work area.

Finished pieces will need to be brought to VisArts after completion for firing. Pieces should be brought in within ONE WEEK of completion to avoid over-drying and other potential firing issues. Pieces will be ready to be picked up two weeks later. Appointments must be made for drop-off and pick-up, please click HERE to sign-up for an appointment.

Registration closes two Fridays before camp starts at 3 pm.
