Effective January 1: Masks are Optional in VisArts’ Classrooms and Studios
Our two-week, two-hour Wheel intensive is a fun, challenging class for pottery wheel beginners ages 13-17 who want to learn and build on a new artistic skill. Experienced instructors provide daily demonstrations and individual attention. Students will gain an understanding of the basics of wheel throwing while making and glazing a portfolio of ceramic cups, vases, bowls, and more.
Students are encouraged to sign up for multiple sessions of this intensive to enrich and advance their skills.
Please note that there won’t be intensives on July 4 and 5, in recognition of the Independence Day holiday.
