Effective January 1: Masks are Optional in VisArts’ Classrooms and Studios
Our two-week, two-hour Painting, Drawing + Mixed Media intensive is for tweens and teens (11-14) who want to advance their artistic skills,  explore a variety of subjects, and create a collection of artwork without worrying about deadlines or grades.
The instructor will cover core concepts of art and design and demonstrate application techniques for a variety of media, including acrylic paint, graphite, charcoal, and pastels. For each project, students will have the opportunity to choose a subject from reference images, their imagination, and more.
The instructor will provide individual guidance and may adjust projects to fit each student’s interests, goals, or skill level.
