From Albrecht Durer in the 15th-16th centuries through our current contemporary art scene, artists have interpreted the many lines, forms, colors, and moods of trees – in forests, mountainsides, townscapes, and gardens. Shown below is a grove of olive trees painted by Van Gogh. In this class, we will focus on a different artist each time, and after discussing what makes his or her work unique, we will draw trees we can see.

This class is for ages 14 and up.

Please use the Notes section on the registration form to list any accommodations you will need during the class.
