Students will follow along on Zoom with Ms.Kate, their instructor to lay down the basic outline of the head with a sharpie, and then with a blue colored pencil on the feather designs; then laying down the oil pastels. Students will learn how to utilize the entire space. They will have the head outline sketched in advance so as to know the size proportions of each part of the peacock.
Materials Needed:
- Set of oil pastels or buy peacock colors
- Sheet of black charcoal paper, dark blue or dark green sturdy paper (available singly at Plaza Art). 11 x 14 or close to it.
- One white colored pencil
- Eraser
Instruction will be provided through the Zoom platform. Students will need to have a webcam and the ability to download zoom on their computer, phone, or tablet. Once you register for the class, you will be sent an e-mail with the Zoom URL to log in to the class. Please provide a correct and viable e-mail address when registering as this is how you receive your link.
