This class is part of our free class series in honor of Women’s History Month. Yayoi Kusama is a contemporary artist known for her brightly colored work and use of polka dots. While she works primarily in sculpture and installation, she is also known for her paintings, performance art, poetry, and fashion. She has been acknowledged as one of the most important living artists from Japan
Now more than ever you need a creative break and the opportunity to be a part of a community. This class is perfect for students of any skill level as your instructor will walk you through the step-by-step process beginning at sketching your design all the way through the finishing steps.
Instruction will be provided through the Zoom platform. Students will need to have a webcam and the ability to download zoom on their computer, phone or tablet.
If you choose to use materials at home, you will need the following: acrylic paint (red, yellow, blue, black, white), paint brushes, a pencil, and a canvas/other surface.
