In this eight-week course, students will learn the basic tools, materials, and process for sculpting the human figure. Working with reference photos, participants will hone their observational skills in addition to learning different attachment techniques in order to achieve various gestures. Students will develop skills in understanding proportion, volume, and planes as they relate to anatomical structures. Some previous clay experience is preferred but not mandatory.
