Effective January 1: Masks are Optional in VisArts’ Classrooms and Studios
Do you wish to make sewing projects but don’t know how to get started? Learn fundamental sewing skills that will aid you in future projects. This course is for beginners to learn the basic hand stitches for connecting or decorating your fabric pieces. you will learn how to operate a sewing machine, learn to control fabric for sewing straight and curved lines, and simple sewing techniques to create projects like patches, scratches, tote bags  and pencil cases. Two sewing machines are available for in-class use. You are encouraged to bring your own sewing machine if you have one.
This class is for ages 14 and up.
