Effective January 1: Masks are Optional in VisArts’ Classrooms and Studios
In this eight-week course, students will learn gouache techniques, color-mixing, and brushwork through observational and imaginative painting.
Think of gouache as the missing link between acrylic and watercolor painting. You can water it down and lay it on thick!Â
This class is for students ages 14+.

This class is specially priced as part of VisArts’ Emerging Teacher Mentorship Program (ETMP), a supported program for artists training to become teachers. This course and curriculum were developed with guidance from VisArts’ Education staff.
