In this introductory class, students ages 8-10 will work with a variety of art materials, including watercolor, oil pastel, colored pencil, pencil, and acrylic paint on canvas, while learning about quality of line, color, form, composition, and balance. Students will create new artworks on a range of subjects each week and, at the end of the class, they’ll view and provide positive feedback on each other’s work.
We encourage independence with our youngest learners; all children’s classes are designed to be drop-off only. Grown-ups are not permitted to stay in the classroom with their children.Â
