VisArts’ ceramics faculty show, HEATWORK 3.0, celebrates VisArts’ vibrant ceramics community and the strong, creatively inspired collaboration between our students and faculty. VisArts’ ceramics program serves more than 300 students in 12-week sessions and supports beginners through advanced students in all aspects of ceramic creation, including wheel throwing, handbuilding, sculpture, surface decoration, alternative firing techniques, Raku, and glaze applications.

VisArts’ ceramics program is a place where students and faculty are free to explore, learn, and grow; it’s a joyful, supportive, and creative community of friends. The program is a vital part of our art community and plays an integral role in VisArts’ mission of transforming lives through art.
