Fused Glass Jewelry Workshop: 8 pendants, 4 techniques

Whether new to glass or interested in expanding your jewelry creating potential, this workshop will teach you how to cut and use a variety of glass and specialty glasses to create your unique pieces, and give you the time to work through your designs. No previous experience is necessary.

We will cover the basics of glass cutting using VisArts studio tools, and discuss design techniques. The effects possible using dichroic glass, reactive glass, selective use of frit and combining glass of different thickness and opacity are demonstrated and explained. A section of glass and specialty glasses is provided, as are tools and use of studio cutters and grinders.

Your pieces will be fused in our kiln, and finished with silver plated findings to make 8 finished pendants
