About Jenny BeechÂ
Jenny Beech (she/her) fell in love with clay as a high school student in Silver Spring, Maryland and decided that she wanted to pursue ceramics as a career. She earned her BFA with a concentration in ceramics at Towson University. While there, she exhibited her work twice in the annual juried student show and won awards for pottery on both occasions. Her work has been shown at Baltimore Clayworks, Mugi Studio, Supermud Pottery, and Clay Arts Las Vegas.
Beech is passionate about teaching the potter’s wheel. Working as an instructor has helped her grow profoundly as an artist and an educator, and connecting with students over clay is one of her greatest joys. She’s taught ceramics to adults and children at several studios and afterschool programs, including at three studios in Manhattan.
This event is free and open to the public. RSVP below to reserve your space.
