Students will be using several art mediums in this series: pencils, colored pencils, oil pastels, and watercolor for drawing houses in Thailand, the Netherlands, Indonesia. Students from prior series welcome: all new houses! Following a demonstration on the technique of the art media for that day, students will learn about proportion and setting up the page with all the elements of the building. Finally putting in the details and color to make it interesting.
Class #1: The “Netherlands, watercolor
Class #2: Thailand, oil pastels
Class #3: Indonesia, colored pencils
Class #4: Their own house; choice of regular pencil or ink.
Please bring in a photo printed out to about 8″ x10” black and white, or color.
We encourage independence with our youngest learners; all children’s classes are designed to be drop off only. Children under 13 must be dropped off and picked up at their classroom by a parent or caregiver.

Classes require a minimum enrollment of four students. If classes must be cancelled due to low enrollment, students will be informed one week prior to the start of the class and issued a full refund.
