Effective January 1: Masks are Optional in VisArts’ Classrooms and Studios
In this class, students will develop a fundamental understanding of shapes, tones, and shading of objects using different types of materials. Students will start with basic knowledge of shapes and strokes using a drawing pencil and build up to a higher level of understanding of shading and tones using more materials like charcoal pencils, pastels, and colored pencils.
We encourage independence with our youngest learners; all children’s classes are designed to be drop-off only. Grown-ups are not permitted to stay in the classroom with their children.Â
