The watercolor shown here is by artist Michael Kitchen of the Eilean Donan castle on an island off of Scotland. We welcome past participants to this class series; all new castles, from varied countries with more focus on the environment than before. All abilities are welcome.  We start with setting up the composition; while working from photos, which involves setting up a grid in pencil of the main lines and then adding the contours of the hills and whatever else makes up the landscape. Students are free to subtract or add on any design elements. Lines will be with Micron pens  They are indelible, waterproof, and archival. Color will be added last in either watercolor paint or watercolor pencils. Demos will happen at the beginning of class, and students should aim to arrive 5 minutes beforehand so we can all start at the same time, so as not to miss these. All materials provided.

This class is for ages 14 and up.
Please use the Notes section on the registration form to list any accommodations you will need during the class.
