Effective January 1: Masks are Optional in VisArts’ Classrooms and Studios
This course will provide a comprehensive introduction to the materials and methods essential to ceramics practice.
Clay forming techniques in all areas of hollow construction will be introduced and explored, including pinched pottery, coil building, slab construction, and the extruder.
The use of slips, engobes, terra-sigillata, and glazes will be covered.
