In this weekly class, students will create beautiful clay forms with handbuilding techniques, including pinch pottery, coiling, and slab building. Students will also explore basic surface decoration techniques using colored slips, glaze, and underglaze to finish their works.
This class may be used as a prerequisite for VisArts’ advanced beginner and beyond classes.

All students are assigned a shelf for the duration of their classes. All materials must be removed from these areas on the last day of classes (unless taking a subsequent class).
Please use the Notes section on the registration form to list accommodations needed during the class.
Classes require a minimum enrollment of four students. If classes must be cancelled due to low enrollment, students will be informed one week prior to the start of the class and issued a full refund.
