In this advanced course, students will learn how to animate basic objects and character models.
The class will focus on movement; students will learn how to rig and weight a model and render a short video sequence in Blender.
This class is for ages 14+.
Required Materials
● Computer Either Mac or Windows
● Free Copy and Installation of Blender 3D
● Mouse with middle button/scroll wheel
Blender Requirements
● Windows
○ CPU: 4 cores with SSE4.2 support
○ RAM: 8 GB ( no less than 4 GB)
○ GPU: 2 GB VRAM with Open GL 4.3
● Mac
○ CPU: Apple Silicon or Intel
○ RAM: 8 GB ( no less than 4 GB)
○ GPU: Metal 2.2
Instruction will be on Zoom. Students must have a webcam and Zoom downloaded on a computer, phone, or tablet. We will email the Zoom link.
Classes require a minimum enrollment of four students. If classes must be cancelled due to low enrollment, students will be informed one week prior to the start of the class and issued a full refund.
