Effective January 1: Masks are Optional in VisArts’ Classrooms and Studios
Refine your throwing skills and expand your range of forms through individual projects. Instructors demonstrate more advanced techniques in surface decoration and glazing. This class is a great opportunity for you to move beyond the basic techniques of throwing on the wheel.
Requisite: Returning VisArts students or those who have taken VisArts’ Intro to Ceramics or Beginning Wheel Class. It is possible to test into this class by showing proficiency in basic ceramic skills. This class is not for total beginners.

Practice makes perfect and we offer Open Studio every day for students to practice. Please use this LINK https://www.signupgenius.com/go/9040f4eada92baa8-ceramic1 to make an appointment. All students are assigned a shelf and locker for the duration of their classes. All materials must be removed from these areas on the last day of classes (unless taking a subsequent class)
