This handbuilding class is perfect for advanced beginner and Intermediate students. Through demonstrations and individual guidance students will learn how to use slab construction techniques to make strong, functional handbuilt pottery.
Requisite: Returning VisArts students or those who have taken VisArts’ Beginning Handbuilding class. It is possible to test into this class by showing proficiency in basic ceramic skills. This class is not for total beginners.

Practice makes perfect and we offer Open Studio every day for students to practice. Please use this LINK https://www.signupgenius.com/go/9040f4eada92baa8-ceramic1 to make an appointment. All students are assigned a shelf and locker for the duration of their classes. All materials must be removed from these areas on the last day of classes (unless taking a subsequent class)
