Abstract art is about expression. Life can sometimes feel heavy and having a creative outlet to make it lighter is priceless. If you want to express yourself but also need some direction and help, this is the right place!
This class needs some basic knowledge of using Acrylic paints on canvas.
On a large canvas, students will explore how to use basic materials have on hand, set up their workspace, how to start and paint a beautiful background using some unusual tools, find their inner artistic voice using elements of abstract painting including color value, mark making, and composition, collage, and textures as well as various ways to move through a painting to the end.
