It’s time for the annual office party, and while the idea of drinking on the company’s dime and on the company’s time appeals to some employees, many find the usual lunch and speechifying a bit ho-hum. Creating a holiday season office celebration that is creative and “art-centric” is a great alternative to the traditional luncheon or cocktail hour. Our creative experiences guarantee that your staff will be talking about this year’s holiday party for months to come. Pricing includes use of an appropriate sized classroom for three hours which allows for plenty of time to socialize, eat, and make art! Since this is a private event you can bring in your own food and beverages — including alcohol. If you want more time for mingling and eating, we’ll do our best to accommodate your needs. We can provide you with a list of restaurants and caterers who have worked with us over the years and always deliver great food at a great price. Dates are going quickly- especially for large groups that would need to use our beautiful Buchanan Room for their event.
Fused Glass Ornaments and Sun-Catchers
Let your guests nourish their creative holiday spirit and join us for this fused glass ornament class. Layers of vibrant, luminous glass create sparkling holiday ornaments or sun-catchers that will make your home, windows, or tree dazzle with art pieces that will last a lifetime. Our instructor and helper (if needed) will provide your participants with some basic fused glass skills and knowledge. Work will be ready to pick up in seven business days following the event.

Fused Glass Swizzle Sticks
Create beautiful one of a kind swizzle sticks that will make your guests thrilled to taste your mixed drinks. We’ll provide enough materials for each of your guests to make six 6” swizzle sticks. This project is fun, fast and guaranteed to please everyone. Work will be ready for pick up 7 days after the event.

Holiday Toasting Glasses
Celebrate the holidays with one-of-a-kind champagne glasses. Your guests can paint up to four flutes. VisArts will provide special paints, ideas for decoration and curing instructions to protect your functional masterpieces. Work can be taken home at the end of this two and one-half hour event.

Holiday Flasks
This fast, easy and no-mess project is the perfect “add-on” to a holiday cocktail party or luncheon. We’ll provide paint markers and lots of ideas for people to be inspired by. You can expect that people will be able to decorate this lovely eight-ounce drinking flask in under an hour.

Everlasting Fused Glass Christmas Cactus
How many times have we been given a beautiful healthy Christmas cactus only to have it never bloom or worse, die. Well this cute cactus will never need more than a dusting and will keep you company at work year after year after year!
Work will be ready for pick up within ten business days of the event.

Holiday Floral Arrangements
Everyone loves flowers, especially to enjoy in their own home. VisArts is partnering with MakeBlooms and their experienced and enthusiastic staff to teach your guests how to make beautiful seasonal arrangements. Your guests will leave with a completed arrangement, printed instructions for the design they created and a sense of accomplishment. All flowers, tools and containers will be provided. This is a perfect project to accompany a cocktail party or luncheon since the project takes between 45 and 60 minutes.

Maryland Crab Shell Ornament/Decoration
We’ve cleaned and painted real Maryland Crab Shells that your guests can paint to create beautiful one of a kind pieces of artwork. The finished work can be displayed or if your guest wants to create a special holiday ornament, a ribbon hanger can be added to the shell. Your guests will be using permanent paint markers so the mess and fuss is at a minimum. This project can take anywhere from a few minutes to a half hour or more depending upon how complex the design is. VisArts will provide lots of examples and images to inspire your guests. Our supply of craft-ready shells is limited so book early.

Lighted Wine Bottle Holiday Decoration
Your guests can create a one of a kind decorative wine bottle for their home or office. VisArts will provide a wine bottle and special cork topper that holds a string of small LED lights that fill their wine bottle to create a beautiful lighted display. We’ll provide lots of ideas, special paint markers (so no muss and no fuss).
