You pick an image, your guests receive a lightly pre-sketched 16” x 20” canvas, and an instructor leads a step-by-step painting lesson. The base price includes a two-hour party led by our experienced instructor and classroom assistant and all the art materials necessary for the painting creations.

The hottest trend in painting this year! This is the ultimate creative painting experience-no brush required. Participants will create three 6 x 6 inches paintings after practicing on a small surface. Fluid painting is a type of abstract art that uses acrylic paints mixed with different pouring mediums to create a fluid, flowing consistency. The acrylic paints react with each other when combined to create extraordinary patterns and designs. This class will focus on pouring techniques such as puddle pouring, dirty pouring, and swiping.

Work will be left with VisArts staff to dry.
Work will be ready for pick up within 5 business days.

Our hand-building project allows participants to create a vessel or tray while learning basic ceramic skills such as joining, slip and score and cutting. A variety of stamps, sprigs and other texture tools will be provided so that creations can reflect individual design ideas. Colored clay slips will be provided so that participants can paint their work which will then be bisque-fired and glazed by VisArts staff. Work will be ready for pick up 10 business days after the event.

There are very few artistic endeavors that are as challenging as working on a pottery wheel. Your guests will be provided one and half pounds of clay and the tools necessary to create a wheel-thrown piece of work. Our skilled instructor will walk through the entire process and provide amply demonstrations and assistance. Participants will pick a glaze that will be applied by VisArts staff after bisque-firing. Work will be ready for pick up 10 business days after the event.

One of our most popular group activities, participants create a 6” x 6” square or 8” x 4” rectangle while they learn about the “cool glass” process during this two-hour class. Your guests learn how to cut glass and consider how different glass interacts. Finished work is ready for pick up within 10 business days of the event.
