In this class, advanced beginner- and intermediate-level students will learn, through demonstrations and individual guidance, how to use slab construction techniques to make strong, functional, handbuilt pottery.
Prerequisite: Returning VisArts students or those who have taken VisArts’ Beginning Handbuilding class. It is possible to test into this class by showing proficiency in basic ceramic skills. This class is not for total beginners.

Students are assigned a shelf and locker for the duration of their classes. All materials must be removed from these areas on the last day of classes (unless taking a subsequent class.

Registration will close two weeks prior to the start date. Classes require a minimum enrollment of four students. If classes must be cancelled due to low enrollment, students will be informed one week prior to the start of the class and issued a full refund.
