“When I grow up I want to be an artist. I think it would be really cool to create things.” James wrote this in elementary school, and now he is fulfilling his dreams. Progressive, psychedelic bands and magical creatures inspire James’ artworks, along with cult classic films and cinema including British horror films and American international pictures. James has explored with many visual arts including painting, drawing, ceramics, and mixed media sculptures. He can often be found building life- size movie props for films that he writes, directs, and stars in, as well as creating and recording music and sound effects, and writing poetry.

James has completed three Doctor Who fan films and is now finalizing an anthology which is a compilation of horror shorts. James’ films are created with volunteer help and support from many people.

James has exhibited in numerous group shows including at the Round House Theater; VisArts; Out of the Box; and Visibility Art Lab Collective. He has been selected twice to show at Outsider Art Inside the Beltway.
