Ann Miller has been teaching art, both in the U.S. and overseas since 2003. With a background in math, computer science, psychology and art, she enjoys helping students discover their unique strengths and integrate their learning across all academic disciplines.
Currently, Ann is an art teacher at The Madeira School in McLean, VA, teaching photography (darkroom and digital), drawing, and sculpture. On weekends she holds classes in 3D Pen Sculpture, Cartooning, and Paper Weaving at VisArts in Rockville, MD. During the summer she hosts evening painting and drawing classes for adults in Stonington, CT and Fishers Island, NY.
Education Background: Ann has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from the University of Vermont, a minor in Fine Arts from the University of Delaware, a Master’s in Education from Wilmington University, and a Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute.
